Holy Moly

So hubby and I are on vacation visiting my dad so we brought our computers with us. So what do you think we were doing? Yes, play the heck out of XIV.

Since I last posted, Square updated the game, introducing The Golden Saucer. It's a new area that will suck up your time. It's a casino in game. For all the gamblers out there, this is your thing. They introduce you to mini games, a card game called Triple Triad, "TT" for short, and chocobo racing. There are other events that happen, such as mini jackpot, jumbo jackpot and gates. Gates are fun. They are like mini fates that won't harm you. Unless fun is harmful to you. So let's move on to my adventure this week so far.

I am now a healthy level 46 Bard. I've unlocked so much in game. I've opened up 4 dungeons: Cutter's Cry (CC), Stone Vigil (SV), Armvale & Darkhold. I've done CC & SV. I've actually done CC three times thanks to my daily roulette. I had unlocked Qarn prior and have yet to do the dungeon. I guess people just don't like doing that dungeon.

I also unlocked the Garuda Trial. I ended up doing it with my Free Company and Hubby. My Free Company, Seven Star (7S) is pretty helpful and friendly. I did better on nerves on this fight, but it took us 4 tries to finish the fight. It was not a fun fight. I am not looking forward to the hard & extreme modes for the trials.

I am getting into the story tho. I so want the Garleans to suffer. They are so evil!!!! I am not looking forward to going to Mor Dhona, but I want to save the Scions. I hate Coerthas too. It's so cold and dreary. But I do like finding new places.

I also started on beast tribe quests. I unlocked the Sylphs, Amal'ja and Kobolds. However, I'm working on the Kobolds and Amal'jas. Those are the 2 mounts I want first. Then I'll work on Sylphs, Ixals and Sagahans.

I think I'm progressing quite nicely. Only thing is that I was behind in main story so it's really helping me out on leveling even though the gear is irrelevant.

Welcome to the biggest time sync.

Decorations are cute and awesome

Taking in the sights.

It's cold in Cortheas

These NPCs has no sense of personal space.

I just learned a new skill that I have to practice.

Ember thinks she's the adventurer. She always gets in between me and the NPC. I wonder if she's jealous.

Goals:
1. Get to level 50 - getting there level 46
2. Marry my hubby in game
3. Get Fenrir mount
4. Collect minions
5. Collect mounts
